WHERE
TO FIND US 788 Springfield Road, Wilmington, NY
We are located in Wilmington, NY, just off Wilmington Notch. A mere 2 mile drive to the entrance of Whiteface Mountain ski & bike facility.
Just around the corner is Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY as well as the entrance to the Whiteface Memorial Highway, that takes you to the peak!
We are Down the street from the Hardy Road (2 mi) and Flume (1.2mi) Mountain Bike Trails! We are walking distance to the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Rehab Center. If 1.8 Miles is small, then we are also walking distance to the hamlet of Wilmington, NY where you’ll find cafés, fly fishing shops, an Adirondack Chocolateir, and restaurants to fulfill most cravings.
The West arm of the Ausable River runs through here (access at wildlife refuge or in town at various parks or LOOK ONLY 3 miles down the road at the High Falls Gorge!). 27 Miles or so down river is the Ausable Chasm (there’s a road-you can drive there) that some tout as ‘the east coast grand canyon’ and has many activities and shouldn’t be missed.
The Olympic Village of Lake Placid is our neighbor 9 miles west!
HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Grit, Grease, Tears and Sweat!
Many years of family business, university, travel, and skibumming in off-seasons…it is a dream come true!
